Cabbage Soup

1 Hour - easy, fast, one pot, fart
A very nice and refreshing cabbage soup that can be easily customized. The only problem is the horrific farts afterwards; I added roasted flax seeds in a futile attempt to have it upset my stomach less, but alas, it still made me fart disgusting style for the entire night. Please proceed with caution...
Step 1

In a large stockpot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Stir in onion, garlic, celery, carrots, and flax seed; cook until onion is transparent, about 5-10 minutes.

Step 2

Stir in broth, mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then stir in cabbage. Simmer until cabbage wilts, about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in tomatoes. Return to a boil, then simmer 15 to 30 minutes, stirring often.

Step 4

Serve hot and enjoy!
